MOST WEST COAST ROADS OPENED
(New Zealand Press Association) GREYMOUTH, March 16.
Intermittent rain during the week-end on the West Coast caused little further damage, and workmen continue to press forward with repairs made necessary by the floods of last week. The Automobile Association reported to-night that all roads were open again on the West Coast, with the exception of the main South Westland highway, which is still closed from Waitaha south, by slips and washouts. -The Otira gorge road is still closed in the gorge itself, blit has been so since the Christmas floods.
