VINTAGE CAR CLUB TRIAL
A day trial was held by the Vintage Car Club in the Waimakariri and Rangiora areas yesterday. There was a good entry of both vintage and modern cars. The most interesting car was a well-restored 1920 Stanley Steamer, owned by W. A. Clapham. Results were:—

Clements (Ford 10), 85, equal, 7; F. Clapham (Ford V 8), 84, 9: E. T. Beardsley (Sunbeam), 74, 10; W. A. Clapham (Stanley Steamer), 45, 11; F. Bull (Essex), 2, 12.
