Suez Stoppage With Storm
LONDON, March 8. Several north-bound ships were aground in the Suez Canal because of a sandstorm and rough weather, Lloyds intelligence agents at Suez reported early today. Navigation was resumed in the canal from the northern end after a 17-hour interruption during one of the worst sandstorms in recent years, the American Associated Press reported from Port Said.
