Shunter Wins £10,000 Overseas Lottery

While shunting at the Upper Hutt ail .vay yards, Mr E. Bloxham, aged 52, a railway employee, of Khandallah road, Ngaio, was informed yesterday he hau won £lO,OOO in an overseas lottery. Mr Bloxham has worked on the railways for 30 years. He has been taking lottery tickets for 30 years and in that time has won £3O it. minor prizes. He intends to use the money as a nest-egg.
Mr Bloxham’s brother-ip-law won .£lO,OOO 12 years ago. A few months later another brother-in-law shared a £,10,000 win. Last year one of them again won a prize—£.50.
