BAPTIST UNION ASSEMBLY
The Annual Assembly of the Baptist Union will be held in Christchurch early in November. Officers and committee chairmen were appointed at the meeting of the Canterbury Baptist Association this week as follows: — Chairman, the Rev. R. Hart; secretary, Mr E. R. Clark; hospitality, Mr R. McPherson; transport. Mr T. B. Nuttall; outing, Mr Warrick Brown; catering, Mrs S. G. Reddell; floral decorations, Mrs R. S. Whitmarsh; publicity, the Rev. A. L. Silcock; property, Mr B. McKenzie.
