St. Andrew’s College Fete
A fete to raise funds for fives courts was opened by the DeputyMayor (Mr G. Manning) at St. Andrew’s College yesterday. More than 2000 persons visited the fete during the afternoon and evening. Mr Manning was introduced by the chairman of the board (the Rev. Stewart C. Francis), and the rector of the college (Mr L. W. Stewart) also spoke. Visitors* were entertained by the college’s pipe band. The fete was organised by the Parent-Teacher Association and the Old Boys’ Association of the college.
