HOTEL UNION SECRETARY
Members Support Executive (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 7. The quartely meeting of the Auckland Hotel, Hospital, Restaurant and Related Trades Union last evening supported the executive committee’s decision to censure the union secretary, (Mr F. G. Young), for his recent letter to the Prime Minister (Mr Nash) criticising cuts in liquor import licences. The meeting also decided tha’ the matter should now be forgotten, and expressed confidence in Mr Young as secretary. More than 80 union members attended the meeting. Six opposed the decisions.
