Archbishop Could Be Deported

The Minister of the Interior, Mr Eben Donges, told a questioner at a political meeting u last night that the Government had powers to deport the Archbishop of Cape Town, the Rt. Rev. Joost de Blank. •“ “But at the moment I do not see that he is in any danger,* Mr Donges said. The Archbishop, a former Bishop of Stepney, London, _ T , recently wrote his views on some official racial segregation measures and evoked some critical comment from politicians of both sides in South Africa.
