(NJZ. Press Association—Copyright) BRISBANE, March 4. Four members of the Australian swimming team for the Empire Games at Cardiff last night broke the world record for the four by 100 metres in a time of 3min 463 sec. The four swimmers, John Devitt, Jon Konrads, Gary Chapman and Geoffrey Shipton, bettered the previous world time set by Japan by five-tenths of a second.
