Soviet Nuclear Tests
(NJZ. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 11 p.m.) TOKYO, February 28. The Soviet Union held another nuclear bomb test within three hours of the previous test yesterday, the Central Meteorological Observatory here said today. The observatory said the second test was made at 3 p.m. G.M.T on February 27. The cycle was one minute and a duration of ten to 30 minutes. The first test was made on February 27 at ~ 12.40 p.m. G.M.T. with a cycle of two minutes and a duration of 20 to 50 minutes. Both tests were made more than 4000 kilometres north north-west of Japan within the Arctic Circle, the observatory said.
