NEW JEEP FOR FEDERAL GERMAN ARMY.—The Goliath Hunter scout car, many of which have already been handed over to the German Defence Ministry by the Goliath-Werk works in Western Germany. The car, now in mass production, will be available shortly to the civilian population. Built to North Atlantic Treaty Organisation standards, it is powered by a fourcylinder, four-stroke engine, producing 50 horse power. It has eight gears and four-wheel drive. Extremely roomy, the Hunter can carry four passengers with ample luggage or equipment over the most rugged territory, and on a level surface reach about 62 miles an hour.
