RIFLE SHOOTING
Christchurch Club The Christchurch Rifle Club fired the fifth three-range competition at Tai Tapu. Conditions were seven shots and two optional slghters each at 300, 500 and 600 yards. Heavy rain began at 600 yards and several promising totals were spoilt through this. The winner. N. Davidson, shot well, scoring a possible at 500 yards and also took the prize for top off the rifle.
