Death After Fall Into Hot Pool

ROTORUA, January 20. A 69-year-old Maori woman died at 12.30 a.m. in the Rotorua Hospital from extensive scalds. She was: - Mrs Iripu Warbrick, of Whakarewarewa. Mrs Warbrick fell into a boiling spring at the Whakarewarewa thermal reserve at midday yesterday. She was dragged out of the pool, an isolated one surrounded by bush and scrub, by passers-by and rushed to hospital.
