Woman Wins £12,600 On Jackpot
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, January 20. Two bets, held by 15 persons, shared the £25,214 17s 6d jackpot at Randwick on Saturday. One bet was held by a woman, who received £12,607 8s 9d—the biggest individual win on the jackpot. The other was held by four persons, one of whom shared her quarter share with 10 others. A gross £28,817 was invested on the jackpot—the equivalent of 115,268 5s bets.
