(N.Z. Press Association—Copy right i LONDON, January 7. The Duke of Edinburgh was watched by millions of British viewers i&hen he introduced a 8.8. C. television feature tonight on the work of the “Outward Bound” self-reliance schools for boys. The Duke, patron of the Outward Bound Trust, said it now ran eight schools in Britain and the Commonwealth. The first was formed during World War II to prepare young men to face the ordeals of war in the North Atlantic, he said. Now in England, Australia, Africa and Malaya, the trust’s mountain and sea schools were satisfying “the universal urge to all boys to take part in demanding and worthwhile enterprise.”
