“One Man’s Meat”
Sir,—lt revolts one to read (as recently reported) of a man eating a string of sausages several feet long after he had finished a meal. Have people no better knowledge of the wonder of their inner workings than to abuse them? I always think all food eating competitions are revolting and degrading. One feels like shouting out, “What know ye not that ye are the children of the Highest?”—Yours, etc., BE TEMPERATE IN ALL THINGS. January 7, 1958.
