APPLE AND PEAR BOARD
Five New Cool Stores (New Zealand Press Association! WELLINGTON, Jan. 7. Four new cool stores for the New Zealand Apple and Pear Marketing Board will be completed soon, probably within the next three months. The assistant general manager of the board, Mr D. L. Waller, said today that the board’s new store at Motueka would be completed this month. The store will Have a capacity of 100,000 cases and will replace a similar store destroyed by fire on April 12 last year. On February 3. a 100.000 case store at Hastings will be opened, and some time in February a 60,000 case store at Wanganui. A fourth store with a capacity of 60,000 cases will be opened in Dunedin in March or early April.
