Overseas Assets Still Falling
The decline in New Zealand’s overseas assets continues. According to figures announced last evening by the Reserve Bank, the level of net overseas assets of the New Zealand banking system on December 25 was £45.4 million. This compares with £7641 million on December 26, 1956, and £64.8 million on December 28, 1955.
