Motor-Cycle Race At Wakapuaka
(New Zealand Press Association) NELSON, January 7. The South Island Miniature Tourist Trophy championship win by J. L. McKendry (Nelson) last Saturday at Wakapuaka has been confirmed after an inquiry by the committee of the Nelson Motorcycle Club, which conducted the championships. The committee said this morning that although McKendry rode ferent machines in the two heats he had not contravened any regulations because he had not qualified in the first heat The placingsthus remain. McKendry 1, I. Boorer (Timaru) 2, and R. Anderson (Nelson) 3.
