Breasley To Ride Ray Ribbon
(N.Z Press Association—Covnrtohti (Rec. 8 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Dec. 30. The noted Australian jockey, Arthur' Breasley. will ride the New Zealand-bred horse, Ray Ribbon, top-weight in the Standish Handicap at Flemington on New Year’s Day. He accepted the mount today after the imported horse, Damocles, had been announced as a non-starter in the race. Breasley also will ride Master Rane in the Stradbroke Stakes and Sunium in the Bagot Handicap. Breasley. who has not ridden in Australia since early in 1953, and is here on a holiday, was the premier jockey of England this year.
