More Russian Satellites
(Rec. 8 p.m.) MOSCOW, Dec. 29 A Soviet scientist said at Moscow today that new sputniks would soon appear, followed closely by the first rockets to blaze the trail to the moon and other planets. The scientist, Professor Antaoli Blagonravov, of the Soviet Academy of Science, made the statement in an article in “Sovetskaya Aviatsiya.” At Washington, Dr. Joseph Kaplan, chairman of the United States Committee for the International Geophysical Year, said today that the Soviet Union was sharing data on Sputnik II **in a very satisfactory manner.”
