MURDER CHARGE IN SYDNEY
(Rec. 7 p.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 29. A woman, her 11-year-old daughter and her son died from bullet wounds at the East Hills Migrant Camp in Sydney early yesterday. The woman, Mrs Jean Cartwright, aged 36, a British migrant, who -had been in Australia three years, and her daughter, Elaine, died almost immediately. The son, David, died in Liverpool Hospital later. Before David’s death Mrs Cartwright’s husband, Spencer Cartwright, aged 38, was charged in Court yesterday with the murder of his yrife and daughter, and with maliciously wounding his son with intent to murder.
