PLAYERS' VISIT TO U.S.
R. J. Charles And I. B. Cromb For. Canterbury*! leading player, R. J. Charles, and I. E. Cromb, the Chrictehurch open tournament tn which they played last tweek will be their last fixture in New Zealand before they leave for the United States next week. After playing practice matches in Honolulu, Charles and Cromb will play at tournaments in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Tucson. Their six-month tour is elastic to allow for competition in other American tournaments. Before returning to New Zealand they will visit the West Indies for games there.
