Hammarskjold Meets Nasser
(Rec. 8 p.m.) CAIRO, Dec. 26. The United Nations SecretaryGeneral. Mr Hammarskjold, conferred tonight with the Egyptian President, Colonel Nasser. Earlier Mr Hammarskjold saw the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Dr. Mahmoud Fawzi, with whom he had already had a two-hour talk last night. No statement was issued on the talks. General E. L. M. Burns, chief of the United Nations Emergency Force on the Egyptian-Israeli frontier, was present at the meeting with Dr. Fawzi. Mr Hammarskjold will leave for New York, by way of Beirut, tomorrow.
