Russians Land At Magnetic Pole
iNZ Press A ssociation —Copy ng h r LONDON. December 26 Soviet aircraft made the first landings at the Magnetic South Pole on December 22. Moscow Radio reported from Vostok Station in the Antarctic today. Five aircraft from Mirny Base took supplies to a fifteen-man scientific party at Vostok and made the return trip successfully, the radio said.
