THREE PLAYERS INJURED

Three players suffered injuries during yesterday’s play in the Plunket Shield match between Auckland and Canterbury. A. R. Mac Gibbon, of Canterbury, had his right thumb broken in three places when he tried to field a ball, and he is unlikely to play again for three or four weeks. f < ,

The third casualty was the Auckland captain, D. Taylor, who pulled a leg muscle near the end of the day.
