The Problem Of Peace
Sir,—N. M. Bell and M. Thorne are out of touch with reality. The only peace we have is founded on force. Disband our police force and see what would, happen Peace between the nations is imoossible because the Prince of Peace, the Lord Jesus Christ, is rejected by the nations as Saviour and Lord. Individuals may have peace when prepared to admit their depravity in the sight of a holy God and to come in childlike faith and repentance to the Lord Jesus Christ and receive forgiveness of sins and a new power to live a new life. The command to ‘‘love your enemies” is given to Christians to act rightfully towards those who would “despitefully use you.” and has nothing to do with the warring nations.—Yours, etc., REALITY.
