Trotting CLAN RONALD IN FORM

Today’s Meeting At Wanganui “The Press’* Special Service AUCKLAND, December 2. Clan Ronald, which was an easy winner in his two starts at the recent Masterton meeting, is expected to win again on the first day of the Wanganui Trotting Club's meeting tomorrow. Clan Ronald is engaged in both the Rutland Handicap and the President's Handicap, the two races for straight-out trotters. A member of D. R. Grantham's successful Normanby team. Clan Ronald is expected to be too solid for his rivals at Wanganui. The double will be run on the Eastbrook Handicap and the Victory Handicap. Au Fait To Race At Both Gaits

The three-year-old Johnny Globe filly, Au Fait, will race both as a pacer and a trotter at the New Brighton Trotting Club’s summer meeting on Saturday. She will race as a trotter in the Improvers’ Handicap and four races later she is booked to start as a pacer in the New Zealand Oaks Stakes. Au Fait was a winner at the trotting gait at November early last month. She raced as a pacer in the Riccarton Stakes and, after disputing the lead, dropped out to finish thirteenth.
