The following are the results of the second day’s play in the Canterbury Croquet Association’s annual junior tournament: — Championship Doubles.—Third round: Mrs H. E. Pease and J. Holt beat Miss M. E. Opie and Mrs H. Sloan, 26-12; Miss E. Innes and Mrs H. Wright beat Mrs T. J. Moffatt and Mrs H. Rogers, 26-9. Handicap Doubles.—First round: Mrs M. Opie and Mrs H. Sloan beat Mrs C. J. McCree and Mrs J. Washington, 26-3; Mrs W. Devine and J. McClean beat Mrs C. A. Crichton and Mrs N. A. Smith, 26-16; Mrs C. E. Cullen and Mrs H. Waldron beat Mrs T. J. Woolley and Mrs O.’ M. Butcher, 26-8; L. Sharp and N. Hartlev beat Mrs O. Thomson and Mrs K Ellis. 26-13. Second round: Mrs M. Rattray and Mrs T. F. Since beat Mrs J. Burnip and Mrs J. Stoddart, 26-14; Mrs D. Finlayson and Mrs L. Holcroft beat Mrs J. D. Hickey and Mrs J. Archibald, 26-16. B Grade Championship.—Mrs T. J. Moffatt beat Mrs K. Ellis, 26-25; Mrs J. Stoddart beat Mrs M. Rattray, 26-15. Handicap Singles—Mrs W. Devine beat Mrs H. D. Hickey, 26-13.
