TABLOID SPORTS MEETING
North-East Primary Schools Pupils from the Shirley Primary. Richmond. Quinn's Road, and Banks Avenue Schools competed in their annual tabloid sports at the Richmond School. Four teams of boys and four of girls represented each school. Results were:— Boys.—A teams: Richmond (T. Corbett. J. Graham, K. Sole. S. Anderson. L. Fullwood, J. O’Shea, J. Percy, and K. Sweeny) and Quinn’s road (J. Stanton, M. Brunton, M. Roberts, B. Harbrow, R. Brooke, S. Kelly, M. Bennetts, and D. Ayres) (equal) 1. B teams: Richmond 1, Quinn’s Road 2. C teams: Richmond 1, Quinn’s Road 2. D teams: Quinn’s Road 1, Banks Avenue 2. Girls. —A teams: Richmond (M. Deer, S. Grogan, M. Leader, H. Waddell, S. Willan, K. Cridge, J Pearce, and D. Baldwin) 1, Shirley Primary and Quinn’s Road (equal) 2. B teams: Quinn's Road 1, Banks Avenue 2. C teams: Quinn’s Road 1, Shirley Primary 2. D teams: Quinn’s Road 1, Banks Avenue 2.
