Police Investigate In New Plymouth

The death of a member of the crew of the Federal Steam Navigation Company’s motor-vessel Norfolk early yesterday evening in New Plymouth is being investigated by New Plymouth detectives.
Mr Frank Johnstone, a greaser, aged 52. whose wife lives in Glasgow. was found lying in Breakwater road, near the port, soon after 6 p.m.. suffering from severe injuries, including a suspected fracture of the skull. The police were informed, and an ambulance was sent for, but he died in the ambulance.
