Three of New Zealand's most isolated polling booths on elec-1 tion day next month will be in| the cruiser Royalist serving in the i Far East and the frigates Pukaki | and Rotoiti in the central Pacific About 550 officers and ratings on the three vessels will cast their votes.
Returning officers have been i appointed on each ship and have been sent enrolment forms and I blank voting papers. , When nominations close in New ; Zealand, a complete list of candi- ’ dates will be sent by naval signal. Working from this the men will vote on election day. Voting papers are to be returned to New Zealand by the fastest possible means.
