Boys’ Brigade Drill Competitions
The annual squad drill competitions were held by the Canterbury Battalion of the Boys’ Brigade recently. Results were:—A grade, Ist Christchurch A 1, Ist Christchurch B 2. 3rd Christchurch 3; B grade, 21st Christchurch 1. 3rd Christchurch 2, 7th and Ist Chris’church (equal) 3. The Fleming Medal was won bv Corporal Alan Sayer, of Ist Christchurch. Mr R. Velvin, formerly of the Wellington Battalion, judged the drill, and Messrs R. Thomas and G. Smith judged the uniforms.
