Montreal: 2.6965 dollars (2.7059): 2.6616 dollars (2.6709). Belgium: 141.99 francs (same); 137.80 (138.00). Denmark: 19.61 kroner (19.60); 18.94 kroner (18.93). Western Germany: 11.78 marks (11.77); 11.53 marks (same). Italy: 1761 lire (1762); 1726 lire (1727). Austria: 72.99 schillings (72.89): 71.44 schillings (72.34).
Jersey Bull Sale Prices ranged up to 75 guineas at the fourth annual Jersey bull sale, held at Jersey Park, Harewood, on account of members of the North Canterbury and Midland Jersey Clubs. The average price for the sale was 42 guineas. The top-priced bull was Keynsham Noble lan. bred bv J. M. Bly th (Rangiora). He is a son of the well-known Canterbury champion. Cobar lola, a v h c merit cow. The buyer was L. A. Buckly (Brookside).

Parade of Homes Lighting.— The ' Municipal Electricity Department would provide additional lighting for the 1958 Parade of Homes in Rowan avenue, said the engineermanager (Mr G. H. Battersby) in a letter received, by the Parade of Homes Committee yesterday afternoon. ‘'This is very good indeed,”l said the acting-chairman (Mr O. C. Mitchell). “Better lighting is one thing we should have had last year.”
