Prince Karim was enthroned today as the new Aga Khan before a wildly-excited throng of Ismaili Moslems and was crowned with a golden turban on a dais decked with 4000 flowers. After the ancient traditional ceremonies the new ruler, who is 20, spoke on the atomic age, the Soviet earth-satellite, and the importance of education. The son of Prince Aly Khan. Prince Karim, by the wish of his grandfather, becomes the spiritual leader of the 20-million strong Ismaili Moslem sect, whose representatives bowed before him and pledged their allegiance.
