Elderly Man Killed In Fall Over Cliff
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 20.
An 84-year-old former Presbyterian missionary died yesterday afternoon when he fell over a 35-foot cliff fronting the Waitemata harbour near his Herne Eay home. He was James Stewart, of 49 Marine parade, Herne Bay. A search was begun when Mr Stewart was found to be missing. Police recovered the body from the harbour at the bottom of the cliff.
