FILMS REJECTED BY CENSOR
Board Allows One Appeal
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 3.
The Cinematograph Films Appeal Board recently considered three appeals concerning the films ‘‘Wild Party,” “The Delinquents” and “Chained for Life.” all of which had been rejected by the Censor. After submissions by both parties. the board upheld the Censor’s decision regarding the first two films. In the case of “Chained for Life.” the appeal was allowed subject to certain excisions. The board directed that the film should be restricted to persons 16 years of. age and over.
