Auckland Trunk Routes.— The National Roads Board has agreed to accept full responsibility for the construction and maintenance of the three trunk routes embodied in the Auckland master transport plan, including the necessary motorway stations or junction points. This is the first step towards the implementation of the new policy on roading recently announced by the board.—<_P.A.)
