GUILD OF MASTER FURRIERS
Christchurch furriers have formed a Master Furriers’ Guild to create public buying confidence in their products by the setting of a uniformly high standard of workmanship and by the establishment of a guild brand and mark. Mr J. S. Grounds, the newlyelected president, said yesterday that manufacturers who did not conform to the standard would not be able to join the guild, but furriers in the Canterbury area, other than Christchurch, would be welcome to join. The committee members of the guild are Messrs A. S. Cantrell. H. Greenberg. F. Gross. R. Nixon, H Latimer, and C. M. Morris.
