Buller Side To Play Canterbury
(From Our Own Reporter) WESTPORT, Sept. 2. A surprise omission in the Buller Rugby representative team to play Canterbury at Christchurch on Saturday is O. Nahr, who was regarded as the most consistently good forward on the recent tour of the North Island. He has been nominated for selection to the New Zealand team to visit Japan. G. Hendrickson, who was injured on the eve of the northern tour, has been included in Saturday’s side as a front row forward The team is:—A. Forsyth; R. Burrow, J. Hunt. J. Daly; R. Jeffries, M. Easton; P. Dent; S. Orman, G. Anderson, J. Cockfield, A. Hawes, K. Crackett, J. Shaw, J. Duncan. G. Hendrickson.
Reserves: B. Tyler, K. Clayworth and J. McArthur (backs); O, Nahr, B. Theobald and W. Neilson (forwards).
