Waikato, Northland Draw
(New Zealand Press Association) WHANGAREI, September 1. In a Coronation Shield Rugby match at Whangarei yesterday Waikato and Northland drew, fl-all. At half-time. Waikato led 6-3. For Waikato. D. B. Clarke kicked three penalties. For Northland, E. J. Thompson scored a try and C. Cunningham and M. Walters kicked penalties.
The ground was very heavy after almost continuous rain overnight and today.
