European Sculling Championship
(N_Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.) DUISBERG (W. Germany), Aug. 31 The Olympic single sculls winner and European champion. VyacheslavIvanov. of Russia, today qualified in a repechage heat for the final of the European scullin.2 championship. The championships are being held at Duisburg. The Australian Olympic silver medal winner. Stuart Mackenzie, won his heat yesterday to go straight into the final. So did Klaus von Fersen (West Germany), who recently beat Mackenzie in Switzerland. Other scullers in the six-boat final are Teodor Locerka. of Poland. Perica Vlasic. of Jugoslavia, and Ferdinand Rabeder. of Austria.
