FACTORY AGAIN ENTERED
Intruder’s Fifth Visit For the fifth time this year, the office of New’ Zealand Metal Smelters, Ltd., in Maces road, was broken into on Thursday night. The intruder was the same person as on previous occasions, for, as usual, prints of criss-cross patterned* rubber soles and footprints of a dog were found in sandy soil outside the building. The intruder searched every cupboard and drawer in the building, strewing books and papers on the floor, but his search was fruitless. On every other night he had broken jn,. it had been the night the petty cash was left in the building. His first three visits brought him about £6O, but on the fourth visit and on Thursday night the petty cash box had been taken away at elosing time.
