(N.Z - Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, August 31. Dozens of people have accepted a £lOO challenge to drink 37 gallons of water in a week. A member of the Sydney Water Board offered to pay £lOO to anyone who could drink Id worth r water —37 gallons—in a week. The Water Board member threw out his challenge after a
rival by-election candidate had complained about the water rates. He said he thought the bet was safe. “After. all. to win the money someone would have to drink 130 glasses a day for a week.”
