MR P. E. J. CAMERON
"The Press” Special Service WELLINGTON, September 1. The death occurred recently of Mr P. E. J. Cameron, a prominent sports administrator, and a wellknown figure ip the business world. He was aged 48. Mr Caiheron was born at Waiuta on the West Coast and educated at St. Patrick’s College, Wellington. He was the Wellington Gas Company’s purchasing officer. Mr Cameron was prominent in cricket for almost 30 years, first playing for the Mercantile League and later was a member of the management corhmittee of the Wellington Cricket Association from 1944 to 1954. He played representative Rugby League for Inangahua-Buller as a ‘young man. (
