Sir,—Mr -Barnes, the memb?r for St. Kilda, said in the Eudget debate that the wage-earners of New Zealand he had spoken to thought that the Budget was very good. He must have spoken to the high wage-earners only. Let him come to Christchurch and rpeet the workers of industries, factories, shops, hotel workers, and dozens of others, and hear what they tell him to do with his class distinction Budget.— Yours, etc. WORKER ON SOCIAL SECURITY).
