MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED
Accident On Evans Pass Road
. Serious head injuries, as well as a fractured arm and leg, were suffered by a motor-cyclist when he ‘ost control of his machine and crashed into a cliff on the Lyttelton side of Evans Pass late yesterday afternoon. .He is Garry Raymond Johannis, aged 18, of 30 Brock Worth place, Riccarton. First aid was given by a member of the Lyttelton St. John Ambulance Brigade, assisted by a nurse from the Christchurch Public Hospital. Mr Johannis was taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital by a Lyttelton St. John Ambulance and admitted. His condition was described as* serious last evening.
