Pollution Advisory Council.— The Secretary of Marine (Mr G. L. O’Halloran) has been appointed chairman of the Pollution Advisory Council. The other members have been appointed as follows: Messrs L. S. Davis (Department of Health), F. J. T. Grigg (Department of Scientific and Industrial Research) B. W. Spooner (Ministry of Works) H. A. Foy (Department of Agriculture), A. H. Hansen (New* Zealand Counties’ Association), F. B. C. Jeffreys (Municipal Association of New Zealand), D. S. G. Marchbanks (Harbours Association of New Zealand), C. C. Collom (Drainage Boards), J. S. Hickey (New Zealand Dairy Board) and H. C. Holland (New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation). The members of the council have been appointed for three years.
