MOBILE X-RAY UNIT
1900 Examinations In Fortnight
About 950 persons were X-rayed last week by the mobile, unit being used by the Department of Health iit Christchurch to detect tuberculosis.
The second active case of tuberculosis was reported last week after more than 1900 persons had been X-rayed in the first fortnight of the programme.

Housewives continued to be among those X-rayed in greater numbers.
The campaign was meeting with excellent response, the officers said, and it appeared that many, thousands of persons would be X-rayed by the unit before the Campaign ended.
