Spare Part For Frigate Dropped From Air
(New Zealand. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 4.
A Royal New Zealand Air Force Sunderland flying-boat from Fiji yesterday dropped a replacement part over Rarotonga’s airstrip for the New Zealand frigate. Pukaki.
Pukaki, now on her way from Christmas Island to Auckland, had a failure in her distilling plant. She was due at Rarotonga yesterday.
